Approaches to Exhibiting New Media

Join Artspace New Haven for a new media workshop with artists and curators Michael Ipsen and Saskia Globig of the new media collective Lino Kino. The artists will illustrate their continued experimentation with exhibiting new media art within and without traditional art institutions, including recent work with livestreaming and multimedia performance. Through a mix of personal anecdotes, theoretical inquiry, and technical explanations they will explore the ways in which new media can expand communal practice and public engagement with art.

“Approaches to Exhibiting New Media” is a program in the Artspace programming series expanding, which develops themes and research from our exhibitions such as Completely Familiar, Entirely Free is on view 24/7, July 16–September 10, 2022.
