Truth Summit

Join Artspace New Haven for a performance with Michael Ipsen and Saskia Globig of the new media collective Lino Kino. Truth Summit is a systematic investigation of the process of knowledge formation. The performers will transform the gallery into the offices of an imaginary think tank. Inspired by the endless work of the librarians in Borges’s The Library of Babel, they will task themselves with the unsolvable prompt of gaming out solutions to an endless set of scenarios. The memos, booklets, and other printed matter generated by their debates will accumulate into a sculptural installation over the course of the performance’s 8-hour duration.
Truth Summit is a program in the Artspace programming series expanding, which develops themes and research from our exhibitions such as Completely Familiar, Entirely Free is on view 24/7, July 16–September 10, 2022.
