Sidewalk Studio: Ruby Gonzalez Hernandez

Join Yale University Art Gallery and Artspace New Haven for a collaborative printmaking process around language and image exchange. Participants are invited to take part using stamps created by 2021–22 Happy and Bob Doran Connecticut Artist in Residence Ruby Gonzalez Hernandez. Prints will be hung to dry on a clothesline, and participants may take their print home.

Sidewalk Studio, set up on Chapel Street in front of the Yale University Art Gallery, is an outdoor program that fosters impromptu art making on a drop-in basis. This spring, the Happy and Bob Doran Connecticut Artists in Residence lead sessions related to their own practices and the exhibition at Artspace New Haven Footnotes and other embedded stories, on view April 30–June 25, 2022. Offered in conjunction with Artspace New Haven and generously sponsored by the Gallery’s Martin A. Ryerson Lectureship Fund. All are welcome. Weather permitting.
