Stephany Brown

Stephany Brown is a multimedia artist from the New Haven area and a recent graduate from The School of Visual Arts. Her work embodies a simultaneous feeling of wonder and dread through a wide variety of media including oil paint, magic markers, found and repurposed objects, photography, video, music, and collage. Stephany chooses materials based on ideas surrounding beauty in the grotesque and poetry, finding meaning in materiality and process.
