Kiara Matos Studio

I run a ceramics studio where play and experimentation are central. Our relationship with ceramics is ancestral and I believe instinctive, it has told and keeps telling many stories. My story is one about color as a language, color a bit like music, transmits emotions and sensations I am fascinated with this aspect of it. On the other hand color in ceramics is a never ending topic, if you tweak the right ingredient a colorant can give you 10 different hues and even a different color. I love the stone like quality of these finished and I really enjoy putting them together to tell new stories.
