Land Acknowledgment

Artspace is situated on the sacred homelands of the Algonquian-speaking people, the descendants of indigenous people who occupied Connecticut over 8,000 years ago. We pay respect to Algonquian-speaking peoples, past, present, and future, and their continuing presence in the homeland and throughout the Algonquian-speaking diaspora.
