Mythical Nation

An exhibition of multi-media works by Asian/Pacific Islander Arts organizations (Gadzookie, Asian Arts Initiative, and Project A) along with works by local New Haven-based artists. Beginning with the premise that there exists an Asian America in the United States, the artists in Mythical Nation present a reflection of that terrain, dealing with reconfiguring the Western construct of a homogenous Asia, as well as a sense of displacement and identity.
