Configuring Identity

This show focuses on the way artists express, obscure and/or construct identity through the manipulation of photographs and photographic materials. The artists push the static quality of photography, exploring its matrix, and often manipulating it physically and conceptually. These photographic works focus on multiplicity and fragmentation allowing for an impression of a moment without claiming supremacy of a single image-moment.
