Artist Workshop: Selling Your Artwork


Artspace will be offering three professional development workshops this August over Zoom led by Clara Lieu. The cost will be $5 per session or $10 for all three sessions.

Today, selling your artwork online can be highly effective and profitable. With so many options out there, what is the best one for you? Find out in this lecture where you will learn how to price your artwork, various platforms for selling, how to set up your shop, shipping details, marketing strategies, presenting your artwork to maximize visibility, and more. Lecture will be followed by a Q&A session.

Clara Lieu was an Adjunct Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design from 2007-2020. She is the founder and Partner of Artprof.org, a free website for learning visual arts. Her drawing, prints, and sculpture have been exhibited at the International Print Center New York, Bromfield Gallery, the Danforth Museum of Art, Mark Miller Gallery, the Currier Museum of Art, Childs Gallery, and the Davis Museum. Lieu has received artist grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation and the Puffin Foundation. Her work has been profiled on 89.3 KPCC, 90.9 WBUR, Hyperallergic, Artsy, Art New England, Inside Higher Ed and others.
