Footnotes Exhibition Opening

Join Artspace New Haven and the Yale University Art Gallery for the opening of Footnotes and other embedded stories, an exhibition delving into artistic research whether citational, embodied, environmental, relational, or virtual. Footnotes and other embedded stories features new work from the 2021–2022 Happy and Bob Doran Artists in Residence, Ruby Gonzalez Hernandez, Leonard Galmon, Allison Minto, Julia Rooney, and Joseph Smolinski. The exhibition includes a free public programming series at both Artspace New Haven and the Yale University Art Gallery, including workshops, conversations, and public art projects. Footnotes and other embedded stories will also be accompanied by a free digital and printed publication launched in May 2022. Food from Dope and Delicious will be provided.

This event is part of the programming series for the exhibition Footnotes and other embedded stories, on view April 30–June 25, 2022. As an in-person program, the exhibition opening will be limited to 100 audience members at a time in compliance with COVID-19 venue safety. Artspace New Haven encourages mask-wearing and social distancing. Please register for this program.
