Will Maxen

Will Maxen is a visual artist currently based in California and Connecticut. Will holds a BA in Illustration from Central Connecticut State University. While attending CCSU, he also participated in Division 1 athletics as a member of the football team. Currently he is enrolled in University of California, Davis as an MFA candidate in Art Studios. At UC Davis Will has been awarded the Provost’s Fellowships in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences for the 2021-2022 academic year, the Fay Nelson Award in the Department of Art and Art History and the 2022 Dean’s Summer Fellowship at UC Davis. Prior to attending UC Davis Will was an educator teaching art at the high school level for three years in Virginia and Connecticut
