Leila Daw’s art is rooted in concepts of map making & environmental issues. Her media include traditional Burmese tapestry & beading techniques, collage, & installation. Works are permanently installed at Bradley Airport, New Haven Library Wilson Branch, & Northwestern CT Community College. Pieces are in collections of Yale, St.Louis Art Museum, Cincinnati Art Museum, DeCordova Museum, Rose Art Museum at Brandeis, Boston Public Library, Housatonic Art Museum, & Clay Center in her hometown of Charleston WV.
