Cynthia Beth Rubin explores the imagined sensations of the unseeable. In this series plankton are interwoven with fragments of a 1008 Hebrew Bible from Old Cairo. The works incorporate a return to drawing on paper for a digital pioneer, as she melds microscopic life photographed by scientists in the Menden-Deuer lab at the University of Rhode Island with mysteries of an ancient decorated Text.
