I am an interdisciplinary artist whose visual explorations span sculpture, printmaking, and installation. Working at the intersection of art and environment, my projects imagine past and future moments of transformative phenomena. Much of my practice is rooted in repetitive processes, revolving around a ritualistic mining for the voice of the material. I am intrigued by a substance’s capacity to evoke sensation, to evidence passages in time, and to retain a physical memory of its own genesis. Inhabiting the spectra between the infinite and the infinitesimal, my work dissects individual parts in an attempt to reveal the indefinite nature of the whole. Ultimately, my visual interventions are meditations on the brevity of human existence and the immensity that surrounds us.
