The most recent work is the beginning of a new project called, Mapping Inconsequence, which will include in book form the works currently in the flat file as well as a video/video installation, text and photographic works. Throughout my career, I have actively used text and photography as well as drawing
The primary discretion in my work is oriented towards accepted psychological and cultural paradoxes which, looked at through the lens of innuendo reveal upon closer examination, fundamental questions. In the past, my focus was on perceptual fragilities, access ways and escapist thought. Later, I began considering constructs of language as decorative cultural objects that served to constrict people, mentally, emotionally and ultimately physically within their socio group structures. So while I can not quite stray from my past completely, my current aim is to find methods for giving voice to the seemingly obscure that in of itself is created by structures of power. By tapping into historical commodities, and idiosyncrasies as a fluid methodology, I hope to find different ways of thinking (for myself) in earnest. And in that, there are new developments for which I have not yet discerned the results.
