Alexis Brown works primarily in the mediums of lithography, etching, silk screen, ink and sketching. Her subjects are living forms, such as plants and animals. She has a BFA from The School of the Arts Institute of Chicago, where her main focus was printmaking and drawing. Her path in school included anatomy, scientific illustration and Lithography. She has been a part of the New Haven arts community since she was a child and feels passionately about maintaining the presence of art in New Haven. Alexis has presented her work at Artspace, Creative Arts Workshop, Paper New England, Kehler Liddell and around New England.
