The Lasso Project

The Lasso Project was part of the 10th Annual City Wide Open Studios and commissioned a group of artists whose earlier time in New Haven had been formative to their current art practice. They returned to New Haven to create temporary installations in public spaces and windows throughout the Ninth Square. Artspace stands at the center of the project at 50 Orange Street. An audio dial in featured each artist discussing his or her work.
Featuring the work of: Johanna Bresnick, Bonnie Collura, Michael Donovan, Frank Gardner, Baptiste Ibar, Marie Lorenz, Tavares Strachan, Siebren Versteeg, and Kitty Sweet Winslow. The image is the work of Baptiste Ibar in the Lot on Chapel Street.
