The Lot

The Labyrinth Project

December 1, 1999—February 1, 2000

Organized by Sharon Kurland, Marianne Bernstein, Aron Michlin and others.

The inaugural project born out of the rubble at 812 Chapel Street—2500 rocks painted by community members with expressions of hope for the new millennium, laid out as a Cretan labyrinth, spanning half a mile (distance in + out).  Passersby, dog walkers, artists, kids, Mayor John DeStefano are some of the people who came.
