“Creating for a specific exhibition has always been a challenging experience for me. It has also been a process that I have found humbling and at times frightening. The work I create is seen infrequently and generally created for my own satisfaction. This solo exhibition has provided the incentive for me to create new work. It also provides an opportunity for me to show a range of my work in one place at the same time. So I have followed my instincts and have put together a show that reflects the range of my creative interest as a sculptor. To achieve this objective I have included key early works, recent pieces, and new sculptures in this exhibition.”
