Post-Election Poll

November 10—December 31, 2016

For the next 30 days, Artspace is collecting reactions to the 2016 post-election results.  Stop by Artspace to record your point of view in our private booth and pick up a free “I VOTED Again Today” sticker.  Submissions will be collected in a allot box and may remain anonymous.  We accept all forms of responses to the following prompts: I feel…, I plan to…, I’ve learned…, or, As a country we… Voters may finish this sentence with a written statement or drawing.  We will post these submissions in the storefront windows at Artspace at the end of each day.  The collection will remain on view through December 31, 2016.  We are currently working to find and partner with a rural organization located in a red state who is interested in bringing the project to their city, so that we may swap our communities’ responses in January 2017.

Artspace is committed to serving the community by providing a safe space for the expression and exchange of free speech.  The submissions will be uncensored and unjuried, however, we can only publicly post submissions without profanity in our windows. Others may be viewed inside our space.

For those who wish to participate, but can’t make it to Artspace, please submit your contribution through our online form below.

Artspace debuted the project at “What now? A Community Conversation”, organized by Hanifa Washington on Nobember 11 at Common Ground High School and the project is available to travel to other sites.  If your group or organization is interested in bringing the Post-Election Poll to your meeting space, please contact us at info@artspacenh.org, with Post-Election Poll in the subject line.
