August 3—August 27, 2000
10 artists from Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts used landscape as their muse in this summer survey of naturalism as inspiration. Their latest work was featured at untitled (space) during the month of August.
In this exhibition named for the Greek goddess Hera’s secret garden, each artist shares a view of their personal vision of landscape. The artists were selected for their broad sensibilities – ranging from direct depictions to experiential notations of the natural world. This exhibition explores the boundaries of landscape.
