Opening Reception for The Third Person and The Electronics Arts Library

Join us for the opening reception of Lawrence Morelli: The Third Person and Paul Theriault: The Electronic Arts Library.

Artspace is pleased to present a solo exhibition of portrait paintings, drawings and Polaroids produced by Lawrence Morelli from 1994 to the present. This late career retrospective presents his uncompromising devotion to painting from life and takes special interest in the long-term relationships has developed with the women he paints.
The Electronic Arts Library is a collection of artist videos, sound recordings, informal texts and media players curated and made available for loan by new media artist Paul Theriault. Featured artists include: Jane Alden, Rebekah Andersen, Kryssi Battalene, Justin Berry, Ben Coonley, Johannes DeYoung, Kenneth Goldsmith, Stephen Grossman, Larissa Hall, Allyn Hughes, Effi Ibok, Jeff Kasper, Kristin Lucas, Effi Ibok, Ken Morgan, Polly Schindler, Andrew Slater, Amanda Tiller, Siebren Versteeg and Allison Wade.
There will be an artist talk for Larry Morelli: The Third Person at 2:30pm and one for Paul Theriault: The Electronic Arts Library at 3pm.
