Abolition Transmission is a radio show produced collectively by incarcerated abolitionists across the so-called “United States,” in collaboration with their comrades on the outside.*
Their first show is 10/20/22 at 5pm Eastern. You can tune in on the radio if you live in New Haven/Fairfield/Litchfield county in CT and Suffolk county in NY, or you can go to wpkn.org and click “listen live” if you’re not within transmitter range. Abolition Transmission will post a full audio recording and transcript after the show has aired.
This launch event will be a celebration of the podcast’s creation as well as a fundraising auction of sorts, where people can bid on artworks for sale, thereby raising funds that will directly benefit contributing (incarcerated) artists.
